Midea "Kit AHUKZ for outdoor units MDV as compressor condensing units"

The connection kit is designed to be connected to MDV systems, or only to outdoor units of MDV air handling units with freon evaporators of any manufacturer. The kits are supplied in 3 types: AHUKZ-01A - with a possible power of a connected evaporator of 9-20 kW, AHUKZ-02A - with a power of 20.1-33 kW, AHUKZ-03A - with a power of 28.1-56 kW.

The kit includes: a housing in which the electronic board (s) are located, an electronic expansion valve for controlling the supply of freon to the evaporator, remote temperature sensors for installing the supply ventilation unit (PVU) on the evaporator, a wired control panel that can be attached to the housing or used at a distance.

These kits are only available for 410 systems, respectively, the PVU evaporator must be selected to work with R410.

The AHUKZ kit is installed in the liquid line in front of the PVU evaporator, connected to a 220 V power supply and controls several temperatures using wired remote sensors. Based on the readings of the air temperature in the PVU channel (indoors), the freon temperature at the midpoint of the PVU evaporator, the air temperature at the inlet of the PVU, the AHUKZ kit electronic processor issues the appropriate commands for the electronic expansion valve, the PVU fan motor (start-stop).

The outdoor unit MDV is equipped with its own control and load control circuit, according to which the processor of the outdoor unit controls all cycles and operating modes of the outdoor unit autonomously. In fact, the AHUKZ kit models the circuitry of the MDV system indoor unit, so there are a number of power limitations. If it is necessary to use outdoor MDV units with more powerful PVU evaporators, it is necessary to install multi-section evaporators in the PVU, the refrigerating capacity of which will be a multiple of 11.2, 14, 16, 20, 25, 28, 43-56 kW.
